Alyson Dunn joined Ciardullo Architecture & Engineering in 1991. As Project Manager, she is responsible for all aspects of a project from initial programming to construction administration. She has extensive experience in interiors, programming and design.

 

Alyson’s educational project experience includes several schools in New York City for the School Construction Authority, most recently the design of a Universal Pre-kindergarten, developed in response to Mayor de Blasio’s Pre-K for All initiative. In addition, she worked on PS 268, a new 94,000 square foot primary school in a dense residential district of Queens, and an Adaptive Reuse of a former military building on Governors Island into a public high school. Rounding out her experience, she was the Project Manager and designer for the new Library & Learning Resource Center at Vaughn College for Aeronautics and Engineering where she redesigned the school’s existing library into a state-of-the-art facility. It has become a popular destination for students to study, learn, lounge and power-up.

 

Alyson has special interests in sustainable design/ green architecture and playground design. She is an accredited LEED professional as recognized by the U.S. Green Building Council.

Ms. Dunn received a Bachelor's of Architecture in 1987 from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia and participated in the College of Architecture's Graduate Study Abroad Program. She is a Registered Architect in the states of New York and New Jersey.
